Bashar Saidi is the “Head of Finance - Group Operations and NAWAT Shared Services” for First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB), the UAE largest bank and one of the world’s largest financial institutions formed after the merger of the National bank of Abu Dhabi (NBAD) and First Gulf Bank (FGB). He oversees all the finance activities related to Group Operations along with NAWAT Shared Services as a subsidiary under FAB umbrella. He is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the finance function, as well as working closely with the Group Head of Operations and NAWAT CEO, helping in developing and implementing the Organization’s vision and strategies.
Bashar joined the National Bank of Abu Dhabi in 2009 and has held several positions such as “Director – Cost Management”, “Manager – IT Financial Management and Control” and “Group Leader – Accounts and Procurement”, before handling his current role as the Head of Finance in 2015.
Before joining NBAD, he worked as the Group Head of Finance for “STG - Government of Sharjah” where he was responsible for starting up the Finance Division, in this newly established Department, and creating all related financial, accounting and administrative procedures and policies for the group.
Prior to that, Bashar was appointed as the Finance Manager for Spot On public Relations in 1999, where he handled the Finance Department for 9 years. Moreover, he spent 3 years as a Finance Manager for Pioneer Advertising.
Before moving to the UAE, Bashar was appointed in 1994 as an Assistant Manager - Trade Finance for the Commercial Bank of Syria where he spent 3 years.
Bashar is a Certified Management Accountant CMA, Associate Cost and Management Accountant ACMA, Certified International Procurement Professional CIPP™ and a Certified Professional in Leadership. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Accounting from Damascus University.

Sandeep Khullar has graduated in Commerce from University of Delhi, India. He also completed his CMA (IMA, USA) in first attempt and holds a ACMA certification from ICAI, India. Sandeep has more than 19 years of experience with various Indian and MNCs, in the field of accounting, finance & administration in India, Russia and Africa, namely Vodacom South Africa, Kentz-SNC Lavlin etc.
Sandeep Khullar also has knowledge of foreign languages like Russian, French and Spanish and working experience with more than 40 nationalities around the world.
In addition to the President of IMA's Delhi Chapter, Sandeep Khullar also holds the position of CEO with a travel company in India and a director at IMF's Research Foundation.
Sandeep has founded the Delhi Chapter jointly with other founding board members, to promote the CMA brand value in Northern India while serving the CMA community in India.
Hadeel is a professional managerial and financial accountant, internal auditor, trainer/instructor, business case author, researcher and Arabic English translator/interpreter.
She has extensive professional experience in the field of management accounting in both private and public organizations in the United Arab Emirates. She holds the certified management accountant (CMA) and certified internal auditor (CIA) certifications, as well as a master degree in Arabic English Translation and Interpretation from the American University of Sharjah (AUS) and she majored accounting for her BA from Al Yarmouk University, Irbid-Jordan. Now, she is pursuing her second master in science of accounting with the American University of Sharjah.
Hadeel made multiple contributions to enhance the profession of management accounting in the region using her translation skills. She participated as a jury judge in the IMA ME Student Case Competition since 2012, also she has been invited to represent, evaluate, speak in many of IMA Middle East and Global committees/activities.
Hadeel joined IMA Dubai-UAE chapter in 2012 as the Vice President for Events followed by the Vice President for Communication in her second term in 2013. Ammar is currently the president of IMA Jordan Chapter (JAMA) & the CEO of Nibras.com. He had an extensive career in Financial Management spans for more than 20 years, working for various multinational reputed organizations including PepsiCo Jordan, Arab Bank, Andersen and Maktoob.com. Ammar holds BS in Accounting from University of Delaware. He is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified Management Accountant (CMA).

Gaby holds a bachelor degree in Business Accounting (BS), a masters in Banking & Finance (MBA), is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA), a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), along with other certifications.
Gaby currently holds the position of a Group Finance Manager/Director at IFP Group, a professional & academic instructor in multiple institutions and universities teaching CMA, CFA, FP&A, Investment, etc., the owner of G. Lahoud Real Estate, and provide in-house training as well as public speaking.
Gaby founded the Lebanon Chapter along with his founding board to add Lebanon to the IMA professional map, to create awareness of the essential role that certified professionals play in shaping the country’s economy and knowledge standards, and to preserve the interests of CMA members.
Moamen is working as an Internal Audit Professional at Qatar Gas Transport Company Ltd. (Nakilat). Moamen has over ten years of professional experience in Internal and External Audit. Before moving to the Internal Audit world, he worked as an External Auditor for KPMG in Egypt and Qatar for six years.
Moamen joined the IMA Qatar Chapter Board in June 2012, since has been elected as a Vice President for Communication and Community Relations. He established the chapter’s social media pages and participated in establishing the first chapter’s newsletter. Moamen has been elected in 2014 as a President Elect of Qatar Chapter, and used to help the President in managing all chapter’s activities.
Moamen is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) since September 2011, a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) from the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) since October 2016. He also has a bachelor degree in Accounting from the Faculty of Commerce, English Section, Zagazig University, Egypt. Furthermore he has a UK certificate in IT fundamentals known as (ITIL) from AXELOS in September 2015.
